About The Position
This is a temporary summer school position for internal applicants only. The role involves assisting the teacher with daily instruction, developing enrichment activities, monitoring student progress, fostering positive relationships, and creating a safe learning environment. Participation in professional learning for the summer school curriculum is also required. The position runs from June 22nd to July 17th, with training on June 18th, 2026. Field trips are part of the summer programming.

Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with planning daily instruction using the provided materials
- Assist the teacher with developing, planning, and delivering integrated enrichment hour
- Assist the teacher with progress monitoring student learning and behavior
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff
- Provide an engaging, nurturing and safe learning environment
- Participate in professional learning of summer school curriculum
