About The Position

Experience this and more as a full-time temporary Chestnut Hill Academy Instructional Assistant. We are hiring for the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with Kindergarten - 5th grades, during the summer months.

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience working in an elementary school settings is preferred
• Associate, or bachelor’s degree in education or related field is preferred
• Valid WA state teaching certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the student
• Help maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
