Summer School Cooking Teacher
About The Position
Join LIFT Enrichment as a Chef Teacher and teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts. LIFT Enrichment has taught over 75,000 students since 2010 and is looking for passionate individuals to join their team of 200+ Chef Teachers. This role offers rewarding work by helping students learn essential life skills, with compensation for grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup. A single workshop is approximately 3.5 hours of pay, and a double workshop is approximately 5 hours of pay. The availability is Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 2-3 days per week. The job requires experience working with kids (e.g., summer camp counselor, retired teacher) and experience cooking basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required). Reliable transportation is a must. Operations involve leading groups of 15–20 students, transporting provided culinary kits, and teaching recipes from the curriculum.
