About The Position

As a Summer Research Professional Intern, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Summer Research Professionals may work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities may include: Quantitative analyses: you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python. Qualitative research: you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis. Preparation of reports: you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings. Team collaboration: you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients. Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree focus in computer science, data science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects graduating in winter 2027 or summer 2028.
  • Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with AI tools.
  • Ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
  • A strong academic track record, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • At least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree.
  • Must already be lawfully authorized to work in Canada for Groupe d’analyse (Analysis Group) for the duration of the internship.
  • Preferably must be able to work at least 40 hours a week during that period.
  • English proficiency is necessary for this position.
