About The Position

Join Analysis Group for a series of virtual recruitment events to learn more about economic consulting and career opportunities. Attendees will gain insights into the firm, its culture, practice areas, and training programs. These sessions are primarily for candidates seeking summer 2027 internships and full-time roles, but all undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend, network, and learn about Analysis Group (AG). Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects.
  • Graduating in winter 2027 or summer 2028.
  • Strong quantitative and research skills, including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with AI tools.
  • Ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
  • A strong academic track record, with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • At least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree.
  • For candidates requiring future visa sponsorship: valid U.S. work authorization (F-1 CPT or J-1 Academic Training) for the duration of the internship and pursuing a STEM-eligible degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven models using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python to address complex economic and financial problems.
  • Conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials.
  • Synthesize research findings to inform case strategy and analysis.
  • Assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda.
  • Prepare materials for client and case team meetings.
  • Engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work.
  • Have an opportunity to interact directly with clients.
