Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen is seeking a Summer Receiving Associate for their 1st shift. This full-time position is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products according to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

No prior experience or training is necessary, although it is preferred.

Responsibilities

Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards.
Execute picking tickets and understand related documentation.
Complete all internal receiving and shipping documentation.
Ensure accuracy of all receiving, shipping, and picking activities.
Perform item movement within the warehouse.
Manage products and shipping. Rotate stock with the Warehouse plan, and check FIFO (first in, first out) and FEFO (first expired, first out).
Loading and unloading trucks.
Communicate shortages and errors to Team Leader/Warehouse Manager.
Participate in inventory cycle counts.
Adhere to all safety policies.
Perform housekeeping in the warehouse.
Prepare receiving and shipping documentation and provide it to the carriers.
Work with Quality Assurance to validate the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
