About The Position

This position is responsible for performing manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of internal and external customers. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under moderate degree of supervision
Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of experience, preferred
High school degree or GED, preferred

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to pull pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Elite Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follows regulations to store refrigerated products if working with specialty products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
