Project Management Support (Summer Intern) (PL)
About The Position
Canvas is seeking a 2027 Project Management Support intern to support its work for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, Tennessee. AEDC operates approximately 70 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges, and other specialized units across eight states. Some of its test capabilities are unmatched elsewhere in the United States or unique in the world. The intern will work onsite at Arnold AFB within the Program Management Division (PMD), which supports aerodynamics, aeropropulsion, hypersonics, space, test systems support, and test analysis. The role supports PMD personnel with technical writing and project management support activities. The internship is intended to provide a diverse experience and help identify project management professionals for potential future full-time openings.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering or Business program.
- Experience or interest in project management of technical efforts.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- May be required to work outside normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
