About The Position
Nurse Extern opportunity St. Luke's South Shore for Winter 2026 grads. Start as a nurse extern and have the opportunity to transition to a nursing position post graduation. Start your nursing career as a Newly Licensed RN with the same team you had the opportunity to work during your externship. This will make your transition an easier one with less ambiguities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Successful completion of Med/Surg 1 and Pharmacology
- Unofficial transcript required
Responsibilities
- Support patient care under RN supervision by assisting with daily activities, vital signs, and medication administration while gaining hands-on clinical experience.
- Build foundational nursing skills through collaboration, observation, and participation in care planning, emergency response, and team communication.
