About The Position

This position is for a Summer Marketing & Communication Assistant within Enrollment Management. The role requires a junior or senior undergraduate student with a background in integrated marketing, communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism, and/or related work experience. The assistant will be responsible for developing and scheduling social media content, retrieving and entering data for reports, proofreading various communications, and supporting enrollment marketing and communication projects. The position offers a flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week at $15/hour, running through August 2026 with a potential for continuation in the fall semester. Work will be a combination of office space in Libermann Hall and remote options.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and scheduling social media posts including text, photos and video, following accessibility and brand guidelines
  • Assisting with content calendar
  • Retrieving and entering data/analytics for reports, including EMG social media channels
  • Proofreading - minor editing when necessary - emails, print collateral proofs, presentations and other communications
  • Supporting enrollment marcom projects such as power point presentation updates
  • Coordinating topical emails with student ambassadors, students and University departments (primary contact, providing templates, etc.)
