About The Position
Strong and Hanni is now accepting resumes for 2027 Summer Law Clerk opportunities. Strong and Hanni Law Clerks work under attorney general supervision assisting with a variety of assigned legal tasks. Law Clerks are given the opportunity to work with the best attorneys in Utah to further enhance legal studies and develop solid legal practice skills. This is a great opportunity for a law student who wants to gain exposure to the civil litigation process. Strong and Hanni has offices in both SLC and Sandy, Utah. This position will work assisting attorneys in both our Sandy and SLC offices. Established in 1888, Strong and Hanni is one of Utah's most respected and experienced law firms. Strong and Hanni is well known for its trial practice both in state and federal court along with business and personal legal services including commercial litigation, corporate and commercial representation, general business, securities, tax, employment law, construction law, governmental liability, family law, product liability, professional liability and much more.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled rising 2L or 3L law student
- Ability to perform legal research using skills gained through law school education.
- Strong written ability and understanding of preparing legal documents.
- Ability to review, understand, and verbally communicate concepts of legal documents.
- Availability from May 3, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with a variety of assigned legal tasks under attorney supervision.
- Gaining exposure to the civil litigation process.
- Working with attorneys in both Sandy and SLC offices.
