About The Position
McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC is seeking a Law Clerk for Summer 2027 to support our Real Estate Group in the Towson, MD office. Summer Law Clerks will gain real-world legal experience and exposure to various assignments from their assigned practice group. They will also be invited to firm events and networking opportunities and will be provided mentorship from current McNees attorneys. McNees fosters a culture of integrity, innovation, and collaboration where ideas matter and contributions make a real impact.
Requirements
- Second year law student pursuing a J.D. at an accredited law school
- Interest in real estate law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal topics
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents
- Assist attorneys on various projects and assignments – both billable and non-billable
- Observe client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as appropriate
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to assigned projects
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
