About The Position

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Shop Summer Labourer is responsible for supporting daily shop operations by assisting with material handling, shop maintenance, and general labour tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50lbs)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Previous labour or shop experience is an asset but not required.
• Basic knowledge of tools and shop safety practices is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
• Operate basic hand tools and shop equipment (training provided where required).
• Support tradespeople with general labour tasks as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with inventory organization and material staging.
• Perform other general shop duties as assigned.
