General Labourer - Summer Student
About The Position
Weldco-Beales Manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student to support our team with various shop activities. In operation for 80 years, Weldco-Beales Manufacturing is proudly a 100% Inuvialuit-owned company. We produce heavy equipment attachments for construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA, and internationally. Requirements
- Completion of grade 10
- General knowledge of basic tools and equipment
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent safety record
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the work areas and equipment
- Clean and maintain the yard and storage areas
- Assist in various areas of the shop
- Material handling and moving parts throughout shop
- Organize and itemize pieces
- Grind parts using hand grinder
- Perform other duties as required
