About The Position
The Maschhoffs is seeking 6 passionate students for its 2027 Summer Internship program. This internship offers a challenging and skill-building experience, allowing interns to learn from industry leaders in the swine industry. Interns will gain hands-on experience, interact with allied industries, participate in leadership development and social events, receive one-on-one mentoring, and acquire real-world experience. The program is open to full-time college students in their junior and senior year with a passion for agriculture.
Requirements
- Full-time college student in their junior or senior year.
- Passion for agriculture.
- Organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively meet challenges and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience in Production Operations (Breed-to-Wean and Wean-to-Market), Health and Animal Care, Research and Development, Nutrition/Feed Operations, or Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
- Interact with allied industries.
- Participate in leadership development and social events.
- Receive one-on-one mentoring.
- Acquire real-world experience.
