About The Position
Weyerhaeuser is recruiting for Summer 2027 Interns to work with maintenance and/or operational departments in a variety of roles in Buckhannon, WV. Interns gain meaningful hands-on experience and mentorship that help to build successful careers. Many of our former interns return as full-time employees, and a number of our senior leaders began their journeys with Weyerhaeuser as interns.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university completing an Associate degree or higher
- Must commit to a 2-3 month internship, May – August 2027
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- High level of initiative and motivation
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Positive attitude
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be able and willing to work a flexible schedule (most sites operate 24/7)
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical
- Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
