About The Position

This is a paid, real-world internship experience designed to provide students with hands-on experience in different departments within Parkside Financial Bank and Trust. The program is built around providing practical applications that will aid interns in their studies and career path upon degree completion. Parkside Financial Bank & Trust, founded in 2007, is an independent partner for successful families and privately held businesses, offering banking, commercial lending, trust, and family office services. The bank has grown to $1 billion in assets and approximately $3.9 billion in Trust & Family Office assets under management, and has been recognized as a Top Workplace in St. Louis for six consecutive years. The Summer Internship is a 10-week program, approximately 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. Main rotation areas include Commercial Banking and Trust & Family Office (TFO), with exposure to other departments and leadership. Interns will build industry knowledge, develop business acumen, and strengthen collaboration and time management skills. Participants will contribute to the Parkside Intern Blog and complete a final capstone project.

Requirements

Completed sophomore year of college before the start of the internship.
Declared degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related business major.
Active in extracurricular activities within the community and/or campus life.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Flexibility to work within a multiple disciplinary team and receive dynamic on-the-job training.
Ability to adhere to Parkside’s core values.
Must be at least 18 years old.
