About The Position

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Summer Intern to join its Cash Business Client Services team. The intern will support client relationship managers by compiling and creating reports, analyzing data and trends, and coordinating presentations and meetings. Data and trend analysis are significant parts of the role, and strong Excel skills are advantageous. The Cash Business is described as dynamic and fast-paced; the successful candidate should be confident working under pressure and tight deadlines and demonstrate initiative, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Liberal Arts.
• Strong interest in the asset management industry, including investment management and ETFs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Confident working under pressure and tight deadlines, with a high degree of initiative.

• Prior exposure to Salesforce.
• Strong Excel abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and distributing accurate, detailed reports to internal teams and stakeholders, identifying and highlighting trends.
• Assist with updating internal teams on projected cash flows.
• Assist with monitoring expected end-of-night cash funding and escalating matters to management as appropriate.
• Work with and build relationships across teams within State Street Investment Management and the wider State Street Corporation.
• Assist with coordinating RFPs and RFIs when required.
• Assist with preparing and organizing presentations for meetings and events.
