Michel Sales seeks a motivated Sales Support Intern to help drive customer service excellence. The intern will gain foundational experience in the plumbing, HVAC, and PVF industry, assisting the Sales Team with day-to-day customer requests and administrative tasks. This Sales Support Internship at Michel Sales Agency offers hands-on experience in industrial sales, customer service, and account management. The intern will support the sales team by handling customer inquiries, processing orders, tracking stock, and utilizing CRM/MS Office tools, serving as a key team member in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or completing an associate or bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • Strong desire to learn the Inside Sales career path
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically MS 365).
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about sales and the HVAC/Plumbing industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service or a fast-paced work environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all Inside Sales learning modules and training tracks to gain a deeper understanding of our products and the Inside Sales role at Michel Sales Agency.
  • Learn to track orders, check lead times, and monitor the sales inbox to respond to customer requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
  • Assist the Analytics team in maintaining high quality database by auditing contractor accounts, verifying business statuses, and purging obsolete records to improve sales targeting accuracy.
  • Enhance our communication workflow within the Front platform by mapping individual contacts to their respective accounts and auditing conversation tags to improve departmental workflows.
  • Attend various sales calls to gain a deeper knowledge of the business
  • Stay informed on industry product updates and support team efforts in understanding competing products.
  • Help maintain customer records, input order data, and assist with processing.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks to assist with overall business goals.
