About The Position

Colossal is a bioscience and genetic engineering company focused on advancing genomics through radical new technologies. The company aims to develop disruptive technologies for extinct species restoration, protection of critically endangered species, and the repopulation of vital ecosystems. This posting is for a general interest summer internship for 2027, allowing interested students to join the Colossal Summer Internship Talent Community. Specific internship opportunities may arise in various fields including Research & Development (Cell Engineering, Genome Engineering, Computational Biology, Bioengineering, Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology), Animal Operations, and Corporate functions (Operations, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing). The company hosts a limited number of interns annually, and applicants will be contacted if a suitable opportunity becomes available. Application updates are not expected before December, and decisions are typically made between December and January. Internships are scheduled for early June through August and are based on-site in Dallas, TX, with no housing provided. Remote opportunities are not available for internships.

Requirements

Must be a current university student in the United States.
Must have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate studies.
US work authorization is required without the need for company assistance in securing a visa.
Students graduating prior to 2027 or in 2027 are not eligible for internships.
