About The Position
Colossal is a bioscience and genetic engineering company focused on developing advanced genomics technologies for species restoration, conservation, and ecosystem repopulation. This posting is for a general interest summer internship for 2027, allowing interested students to join the Colossal Summer Internship Talent Community. Internships may be available in Research & Development (Cell Engineering, Genome Engineering, Computational Biology, Bioengineering, Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology), Animal Operations, and Corporate functions (Operations, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Marketing). Colossal hosts a limited number of interns annually, and applicants will be contacted if a suitable opportunity arises, with updates potentially not occurring until December. Applications for Summer 2027 close on February 26th. This posting is exclusively for Summer 2027 internships, with no opportunities for fall or winter. Interviews typically begin in December or January. Interns are expected to start in early June and conclude in August. All internships are on-site in Dallas, TX, with no housing or remote options provided. Applicants must be current university students in the United States who have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies. Graduates prior to or in 2027 are ineligible for internships. US work authorization is required without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Express interest in a summer internship with Colossal or affiliated companies to join the Colossal Summer Internship Talent Community.
- Be considered for various internship roles in Research & Development, Animal Operations, or Corporate functions.
- Be available to start in early June and finish in August for the Summer 2027 internship period.
- Be a current university student in the United States who has completed at least one year of undergraduate studies.
- Possess US work authorization without the need for company assistance in securing a visa.
