This is an 8-week, field-based summer internship program designed to provide interns with a comprehensive understanding of Ashland's operations. The program aims to familiarize interns with the company's mission and culture, the roles of superintendents and project managers, and the practical aspects of construction projects. Interns will learn to interpret plans and specifications, understand scheduling and sequencing, monitor subcontractor performance, and grasp the importance of safety and quality assurance. Additionally, the internship will cover Ashland's Crisis Communication Plan and provide insights into various office operations, including Sales and Marketing, Finance, Administration, Preconstruction, Estimating, and the daily routines of project managers.
