2027 Summer Intern, Operations/Engineering
About The Position
Reworld is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern in Operations/Engineering to contribute to hands-on projects supporting its sustainable waste solutions business. Interns work on sustainability initiatives, support experienced professionals, learn about the waste solutions industry, and assist with day-to-day plant operations. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute ideas and impactful work in a safety-oriented environment. The internship program includes working alongside experienced professionals and leaders, exploring Reworld’s service lines, and participating in leadership sessions, skill-building workshops, facility tours, and networking opportunities. Internship start dates are May 24, 2027, and June 7, 2027. The pay range for the primary location is $17.12–$22.74 per hour.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for sustainability and interest in learning about innovative waste solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform the role’s duties and responsibilities while upholding Reworld’s values, including contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.
