2027 Summer Intern, Operations/Engineering
About The Position
As a Reworld intern, you’ll take part in meaningful, hands-on projects that drive Reworld’s business of transforming waste into value. Interns contribute to sustainability initiatives while learning from experienced professionals who lead with safety, integrity, and customer focus. You’ll be encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take accountability for impactful work supporting a smarter, more sustainable future. The internship includes opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals and leaders, explore Reworld’s service lines, and participate in leadership sessions, skill-building workshops, facility tours, and networking opportunities. The listed internship start dates are May 24, 2027, and June 7, 2027. The pay range for the primary location is $17.12–$22.74 per hour.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Motivated self-starter who is passionate about sustainability and interested in learning about innovative waste solutions.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.
- Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld’s values, including contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.
