Summer Intern - Manufacturing Quality Engineering
About The Position
This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027. The intern will report to the Process Quality Manager and be located at the Blairsville, PA facility. The role involves providing engineering design and analysis for nuclear projects, including mechanical component design and the ability to create and understand mechanical drawings. The intern will also work with other internal departments to obtain necessary information and evaluate, select, and utilize standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for the development of engineering design documents, including calculations and specifications.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear projects including mechanical component design and the ability to create and understand mechanical drawings
- Work with other internal departments to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
- Evaluate, select, and utilize standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications
Benefits
- The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
