About The Position
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will be in collaboration with cross-functional teams—including supply chain, project controls, design, and quality engineering—to ensure successful execution of fabrication, machining, and inspection activities. You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at our Newington, NH facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related engineering degree
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes, welding technology, dimensional inspection, and NDE processes
Responsibilities
- Interpret purchase orders, specifications, and engineering drawings to define manufacturing processes.
- Prepare shop travelers to guide fabrication, machining, and inspection operations.
- Partner with operations teams on fixture design and process optimization.
- Provide on-the-floor technical support to operations, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
