About The Position

This summer internship focuses on IT Development Operations, specifically involving SQL administration and development tasks. The intern will work with SQL Administrators to document and automate SQL data processes, review existing SQL scripts and procedures for various projects including AlwaysOn Availability management, and collaborate with the Development DB Architect to document business rules, table population, and data propagation to test environments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL development, preferably using tools like SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with technical teams and share knowledge.
• Ability to use various MS Office tools (like Sharepoint, Excel, Word etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Power shell scripts, Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, C#, XML.
• Must be a student matriculated in a college or a recent college graduate (winter/spring term of the Program year) as of June of the Program year.
• Appointment to this title is only valid for the duration of the Program, June - August each year.
