About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate DevOps Manager to lead our growing DevOps team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to automate and streamline our software development lifecycle, bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers, driving our CI/CD strategy, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. This is a high-impact role where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our DevOps practices and culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management position.
  • Deep expertise in CI/CD principles and tools, preferably with hands-on experience with Harness and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
  • Expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and a strategic mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design, implement, and manage a robust CI/CD pipeline, with a focus on automation, speed, and quality. Drive the adoption of CI/CD best practices across the organization.
  • Oversee the management, cost-efficiency, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on Azure Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive monitoring and observability strategy using tools like Dynatrace to ensure the performance and reliability of our applications. Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Own and improve the release management process, ensuring safe and efficient deployments, updates, and patches.
  • Ensure compliance and security best practices (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) are integrated throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. Conduct regular system audits.
  • Partner with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on technical strategy, infrastructure design, and priorities.
  • Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors. Facilitate incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new tools and technologies to improve our DevOps capabilities, staying updated with the latest industry trends.
