About The Position
As an Instrumentation & Control System intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the Plant Computer Senior Manager and be located at our Huntsville, AL facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
Responsibilities
- Support creation of hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and system architecture drawings
- Support hands-on manufacturing and testing of new plant computer and annunciator systems
- Support development of system and hardware design specifications
- Support creation of documentation for procurement and manufacturing
- Support resolution of technical issues including obsolescence
- Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests
