About The Position

Motrex is seeking two (2) Human Resources summer interns for the 2027 program. The internship will run from May 2027 to August 2027, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site at the corporate headquarters north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. One intern will focus on Talent Acquisition, supporting recruiting efforts, while the other will concentrate on HRIS, Compensation, and Benefits. Both interns will gain broad exposure to all HR functions, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS, with a primary focus on their assigned area. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through mentorship, project work, and cross-functional collaboration, culminating in project presentations to the HR team. The environment is casual yet professional, offering exposure to senior leaders and encouraging interns to contribute creative ideas.

Requirements

Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Must have housing and transportation
Requires working on-site daily
Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADP, iCIMS, I9 Tracker, HireRight

Responsibilities

Coordinator support, including weekly reports, candidate backgrounds, I-9 processing, and relocation
Facilitate requisitions, including manager interface, candidate calls, scheduling, offers, and onboarding tasks
Recruiting projects related to social media, job descriptions, metrics, and others
Event tracking and outreach
Projects in Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, or HRIS could be possible
