About The Position

Real Chemistry is seeking a Creative Production Intern to join their ROOM42 team for a 10-week summer program. This internship offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and involvement in exciting projects within healthcare communications. The program runs from June 1st to August 7th and requires a 40-hour per week commitment. This is a hybrid role based out of the NYC office.

Requirements

Must be based in NYC and available to work from the production office.
Strong interest in TV, movies, photography, commercials and how they are made.
Highly organized with the ability to follow technical directions and adhere to standards of excellence in editing workflows.
Proficient with Apple Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge of modern production workflows, camera operation and use, file management/organization, and film/image based storytelling.
Interest to learn by doing and shadow professionals in their roles.
Adaptable, resilient, and willing to adjust scope, responsibilities, and focus as the company grows.
Proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills and a desire to dive into the data.
Highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Support and work with various production department teams (producers, film directors/photographers, film editors, animators, and business affairs) as projects move through the pipeline.
Attend and contribute to team meetings, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.
Provide logistical and organizational support for projects in pre-production, including budgeting preparation, treatment development, and vendor sourcing.
Offer on-set support for projects in active production in NYC, ensuring smooth and productive shoots and learning to create professional content in a live environment.
Assist in post-production by learning and managing workflows, ingesting projects, preparing timelines for editing, and archiving finished work.
Provide infrastructure support by assisting in building out the office's gear management system.
