About The Position

As a Chemistry Operations intern, you will support Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The role is based at the company's Cranberry location and reports to the Component Engineering & Chemistry Operations Manager. This is a paid, full-time hybrid summer position. The hourly rate is estimated at $25.40 to $29.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Completed sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational chemistry assessments for nuclear power plant products, including fuel manufacturing, system operations, service and maintenance, and training.
• Apply general chemistry knowledge to nuclear power plant water chemistry control and material applications.
• Work with other functional disciplines at the engineering level to obtain information needed for chemistry-related assignments.
• Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
