About The Position
Schneider is seeking an Operations Intern in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to support its operations team. The intern will solve problems as they arise and complete administrative processes while gaining transportation experience. The internship also offers opportunities to attend networking events with Schneider associates, participate in professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders and business resource group meetings and events, take part in volunteer activities, and join after-work social gatherings.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward an associate or bachelor's degree.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with various systems and programs.
- Work with teams including customer service, safety, and equipment maintenance.
- Respond to driver phone calls and messages.
- Resolve customer and equipment issues.
- Complete administrative processes and solve problems as they arise.
