About The Position
Schneider is seeking an Operations Intern in Wilmer, Texas, to support its operations team. The intern will solve problems as they arise and complete administrative processes while gaining transportation experience. The summer internship also offers opportunities to network with Schneider associates, attend professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders and business resource group events, participate in volunteer activities, and join after-work social gatherings.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with various systems and programs.
- Work with teams including customer service, safety, and equipment maintenance.
- Respond to driver phone calls and messages.
- Resolve customer and equipment issues.
- Lead a project or initiative to solve a business problem.
