About The Position
The position of Summer Helper has a primary function to assist with summer clean up activities and outdoor facility maintenance projects. The individual in this position will work under the Log Yard Supervisor and will be asked to perform tasks such as driving a water truck, weed eating, painting, and pressure washing. This is a temporary position with assigned hours during the day/swing shift, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Students are encouraged to apply and will be given priority.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace
- Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
- Must be willing to learn new skills
- Be a team player and self-starter
Nice To Haves
- Completion of high-school or equivalent preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Outdoor facility clean-up and maintenance projects
- Assist with dust mitigation (drive water truck)
- Maintain a safe environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
