About The Position

Greenheck Group is accepting applications for SUMMER HELP opportunities. This is a summer-only commitment, focusing on 1st and 2nd shifts on the production floor at our Minneapolis facility. You will support our manufacturing process and could gain experience in assembling products using hand and power tools, reading standard operating procedures (SOPs) and blueprints, or in fabrication, preparing sheet metal parts for assembly by operating light machinery and injecting foam into panels. Some roles may also involve special projects around the facilities. Greenheck Group facilities provide a safe, clean work environment that fosters career development, and our team will provide outstanding, in-depth training prior to entering the production floor.

Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a busy work environment for up to an 8-hour work shift.
Climb a ladder and/or scaffolding frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
Stand for up to an 8-hour work shift.
Grip, manipulate, and hold small parts with fingers.
Hear different types of sound/decibels/tone such as alarms, sirens, and/or mechanical equipment.
See without visual impairments (depth, peripheral, color and acuity 20/40 or better).

Responsibilities

Using hand tools and power tools to assemble parts/components of our products.
Reading standard operating procedures (SOP) and blueprints to assemble the parts and components correctly.
Using hand tools and power tools to assemble and prepare sheet metal parts for Assembly.
Operating light machinery to punch out the sheet metal parts and inject foam into panels.
Reading SOPs to follow the processes correctly.
Supporting manufacturing processes.
Potentially working on special projects around the facilities.
