About The Position

Elevate Semiconductor is excited to offer a Summer Engineering Internship program designed for motivated students pursuing careers in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related fields. This internship provides hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, working alongside experienced engineers on projects that support product development, testing, and manufacturing. Interns will have the opportunity to select a specific area of focus based on their interests and background, with opportunities available in Design Engineering, Applications Engineering, or Test Engineering. During the internship, you will gain valuable practical knowledge, develop technical skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on Elevate Semiconductor’s innovative product line.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Must be a current junior graduating in 2027
• Strong interest in semiconductor technology, product engineering, or test development.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in electronics, circuit design, and test methodologies.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, or similar instrumentation.
• Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with testing and characterization of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits.
• Support lab activities including equipment setup, data collection, and analysis.
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting test hardware and software.
• Contribute to documentation of test procedures, results, and findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product improvements.
