Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an engineering program. Preferably at the junior/senior level.
  • Working knowledge of MS office and Windows.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Visual acuity of at least 20/50 distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near vision ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inches.

Nice To Haves

  • SW and Auto Cad knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with others to assist in the development and implementation of capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support for new equipment upgrades and special projects in the Thermoforming Department.
  • Assist Product Development with engineering support for new product lines.
  • Convert PDF manufacturing prints into editable 2D and 3D models.
  • Convert and combine single PDF's into binder files for maintenance manuals.
  • Look for improvements that can be made and implement them.
  • Comply with all company Environmental Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements.
