Summer Engineering Intern
About The Position
We are seeking highly motivated and talented engineering students to join our 2026 intern team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on challenging projects in a dynamic environment while developing technical and professional skills. As an intern working onsite at Redstone Test Center, you will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to projects that have real-world impact. We are interested in hiring interns with Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer, Mechanical, Material, and/or Human Factors Engineering skillsets.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program of study.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrate the ability to work in team environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams with the design, development, and testing of systems and components.
- Support project planning, documentation, and technical reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges.
- Participate in meetings and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes.
- Apply classroom knowledge to practical engineering challenges.
- Additional intern duties as assigned.
