About The Position

NORY is seeking a Camp Assistant Teacher for its STEM summer camp program in NYC. NORY aims to shape future leaders and innovators through a magical and transformative STEM education experience, described as the 'Disney World of STEM education'. The camp serves over 4,000 campers annually across multiple locations. The role involves guiding and inspiring young minds in fun and innovative ways, with an emphasis on empathy, positivity, and a willingness to learn and grow. Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3-12 (1+ year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide customized support to each child to ensure they thrive.
• Ensure projects and activities run smoothly.
• Collaborate with the lead counselor to create an unforgettable summer experience.
• Maintain a welcoming, secure, and safe environment for campers.
• Organize and lead activities alongside the lead counselor to ensure dynamic and enriching days.
