GIRL SCOUTS OF MINNESOTA AND WISCON•Saint Paul, MN
•$1,300 - $1,500•Onsite

About The Position

Girl Scouts River Valleys’ camps provide campers with opportunities to build confidence, develop positive values and healthy relationships, take on challenges, and enjoy activities on the water, at the campsite, and along the trail. Camp staff help create an inclusive, supportive community and make a positive difference in girls’ lives. A variety of seasonal camp positions are available, with position-specific details provided through the employer’s camp employment links. Staff may live at camp or commute. On-site staff receive housing and meals, and commuting staff are paid hourly. Staff are expected to commit to a schedule and work the entire summer. Living on site is preferred, in assigned rustic, communal housing with campers and staff of different ages; commuting may be considered for some positions. Staff must be able to interact appropriately with people of all ages, understand youth development needs, and conduct activities with cultural competency. First Aid/CPR certification is required or must be obtained, with assistance available from GSRV. Additional position-specific qualifications may apply. Applicants must provide three non-relative references unless they have previously worked for a GSRV camp; if they have prior camp staff experience, one reference should be from a camp director or administrator. Girl Scouts River Valleys states that it is committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and racial justice, and to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.
