Summer Camp Coach/Instructor
About The Position
St. John Paul II Catholic High School provides summer camp experiences in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular areas aimed at introducing grade school students to the mission of St. John Paul II Catholic High School. The Summer Camp Instructor provides instructor and/or coaching summer camp students in a designated area within academics, athletics, and/or extracurriculars. The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for developing a plan for the week’s activities that aligns with the purpose of the camp and the mission of St. John Paul II Catholic High School.
Requirements
- Must be able to lead camp students in prayer at the beginning of each day
- Must plan and prepare for daily activities of each camp
- Must coordinate with the Director of Advancement for access to needed facilities and equipment
- Must provide guidance and direction to student volunteers
- Must be responsible for the supervision of camp students during camp hours
