About The Position
AAFCPAs is seeking a Summer Audit Intern to join their Audit Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting, allowing interns to work on real projects, learn from experienced professionals, and build skills for future career opportunities. The intern will be treated like a full-time Staff Accountant and will gain exposure to various audit services. Requirements
- On track to complete an Accounting Degree by 2028, or have completed an Accounting Degree with 0-1+ years of experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
- Exposure to tools such as Excel.
- Curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning audit from the inside out.
Responsibilities
- Team up with professionals on audit engagements for a variety of businesses.
- Analyze numbers, prepare financials, and apply classroom knowledge to practical situations.
- Gain exposure to compilations, reviews, and audits with guidance.
- Deliver quality work with support from mentors.
- Boost tech skills using Excel, audit software, and other automation tools.
- Learn about the firm's unique culture, people, and clients.
