About The Position

AAFCPAs is seeking a Summer Audit Intern to join their Audit Team. This internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting, allowing interns to work on real projects, learn from professionals, and build skills for their future careers. The intern will be treated like a full-time Staff Accountant and will have the opportunity to tackle real projects, learn from experienced professionals, and develop skills that will be beneficial for their senior year and job prospects.

Requirements

On track to complete an Accounting Degree by 2028, or have completed an Accounting Degree with 0-1+ years of experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
Exposure to tools such as Excel.
Curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning audit from the inside out.

Responsibilities

Team up with professionals on audit engagements for a variety of businesses.
Analyze numbers, prepare financials, and understand the practical application of accounting theories.
Gain exposure to different services including compilations, reviews, and audits.
Deliver quality work with support from mentors to build confidence.
Enhance tech skills using Excel, audit software, and other automation tools.
Learn about the firm's unique culture, people, and clients.
