About The Position

Foley Mansfield’s Minneapolis office is seeking a motivated law student to join its Summer Associate program for summer 2027. The role provides hands-on experience working directly with attorneys on active matters, including legal research, drafting, and case preparation, while contributing to real client work. The program is designed to provide insight into practicing law at Foley Mansfield and opportunities to build relationships across the firm, strengthen legal skills, and learn about its practice areas and clients. Summer associates may shadow attorneys at depositions, court arguments, and client meetings, and may have the opportunity to co-author an article or presentation. Participants receive formal mentorship, exposure to a variety of practice areas, and invitations to virtual social events with fellow summer associates. The Minneapolis summer associates are paid $1,500 per week. Qualified candidates should submit a resume, writing sample, and law school transcript. Requirements

Be a law student.
