About The Position

The Summer Associate intern assists designated department management and staff with assigned tasks under direct or general supervision and exemplifies TD Securities’ culture and customer service philosophy. The role interacts with various internal and external groups and supports business functions through administrative, operational, analytical, reporting, project, and audit-related work. The position is based in Houston, Texas, and is a summer internship/co-op work term.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Currently enrolled in a four-year college program or a postgraduate program.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in an office environment.

Nice To Haves

A GPA of 3.2 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

Build an understanding of the businesses and customers supported by the role.
Answer and direct incoming internal and external calls, as needed.
Provide support to the manager and other areas as indicated.
Assist with departmental projects and reports.
Assist in preparing schedules related to monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports or projects.
Analyze specific accounts.
Assist in preparing specific federal and state returns.
Assist with projects and audit requests.
Assist with operational and administrative functions.
Support or partner with multiple business functions, areas, or departments.
Participate in assigned projects and tasks.
