About The Position

The MASP Insights & Impact team leverages data to assess the effectiveness of MASP programs and identify opportunities to better deliver value to our members. Through rigorous evaluation and strategic analysis, they help ensure that MASP initiatives are aligned with member needs and organizational goals. By translating insights into actionable recommendations, the team plays a critical role in shaping the department’s strategy and maximizing its impact. The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2017 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later. Potential projects include: Designing and developing dashboards to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of Navy Federal's giving, volunteerism, and community engagement programs. Partnering with the Program Management team to develop analytics solutions that track member adoption, engagement, and outcomes for newly launched products, services, and initiatives. Creating comprehensive departmental scorecards and executive reporting tools that synthesize key performance indicators across Military Affairs & Strategic Partnerships (MA&SP), providing leadership with actionable insights into progress toward strategic goals. Partnering with business stakeholders to design and implement Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio agents that streamline departmental processes, improve knowledge sharing, and enhance employee productivity.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in business analytics, data science, or business administration
  • Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation
  • Experience using data and analytic tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Azure Data Studio, SQL, Python, or R
  • Interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and develop Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions
  • Comfortable speaking and presenting to an executive audience
  • Comfort working with large datasets and telling stories with data
  • Ability to work independently and think outside of the box

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports that measure the impact of MA&SP programs and initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Design and test Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio agents that streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Create clear documentation and training materials to help users effectively leverage dashboards and AI solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day strategy, analysis, and operations of the team.
