The Marketing Data Science & Analytics team partners with Marketing, Product, and Business stakeholders to turn data into actionable business insights. The team is responsible for campaign measurement, reporting, business intelligence, forecasting, customer analytics, and strategic research that help Navy Federal understand marketing performance, member behavior, and business outcomes. Our work supports executive decision-making by translating complex data into clear recommendations that improve member acquisition, engagement, and growth. The Summer Associate will work alongside analysts and business intelligence professionals on real-world business problems, gaining exposure to marketing analytics, reporting automation, data visualization, and strategic analysis. The role will involve analyzing large datasets, developing insights, creating presentations for leadership, and supporting initiatives that help answer key business questions. Potential Summer Associate projects may include: Analyzing marketing campaign performance to identify drivers of member acquisition, product adoption, and engagement. Supporting the development of dashboards and automated reporting solutions that improve efficiency and business visibility. Conducting exploratory analyses to answer ambiguous business questions and uncover actionable insights from member and marketing data. Evaluating customer behavior and segmentation trends to support marketing strategy and targeting decisions. Assisting with measurement frameworks for major initiatives and product launches, including defining key performance indicators and success metrics. Creating executive-ready presentations that communicate findings, recommendations, and business impact to leadership. Researching emerging analytics techniques and tools that can improve reporting, measurement, and decision-making processes. The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027 Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
