The 2027 Investment Team Summer Analyst program serves as the training ground and main source of talent for the Fulltime Analyst Program. Analysts are considered the foundation of deal teams and gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle. This specific Summer Analyst role is within the Financial Services team, which has a strong track record of investing in leading FinTech and Financial Services companies across various sub-sectors like digital payments, financial software, consumer FinTech, and traditional financial services. The program is a 10-week commitment, based in General Atlantic's New York office, and is scheduled to begin in June 2027.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate institution in the US
• Have a proven track record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings
• Have a global mindset and an interest in collaborating with colleagues across GA offices
• Have an interest in growth equity and a desire to represent the firm in conversations with founders and entrepreneurs
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and are willing to go the extra mile
• Are creative and solutions oriented
• Possess strong quantitative and qualitative knowledge and skills
• Are a strong written and verbal communicator
• Are energetic and passionate about contributing to a team
• Student Graduating In December 2027 Or Spring 2028

Responsibilities

• Support new investment opportunities by prospecting, conducting thematic research and supporting due diligence and deal execution efforts across the Financial Services universe
• Learn how analysts develop investment theses and industry expertise through research, conversations with industry experts, market mapping, and due diligence on specific investment targets
• Gain hands-on deal sourcing experience and interact directly with entrepreneurs and executives at prospect companies
• Gain exposure to various due diligence work streams, including customer analysis, financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling
• Present a company / industry deep dive at the end of your summer
