2027 Summer Analyst, RMC Property Operations
About The Position
Related Management Company is seeking a highly motivated and organized Summer Analyst to support the RMC property management team with ongoing projects and on-site operations. The role assists property management staff with daily operations, administrative work, resident engagement, and property-related processes. The position is part of Related’s formal 10-week internship program. Interns work on critical projects alongside real estate professionals in a fast-paced environment and take part in speaker sessions, networking events, professional development and training, volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern-led activities.
Requirements
- Currently an undergraduate sophomore or junior, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Strong passion for hospitality and property management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with tenants and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and follow through with attention to detail.
- Proactive and service-minded.
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily property operations and administrative tasks.
- Conduct regular property walks to check cleanliness and presentation, complete building walk sheets, and submit them to the General Manager for review and follow-up.
- Review daily reports and follow up on maintenance requests and incident reports to support resident satisfaction.
- Interact with residents and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Assist with filing lease documents, invoices, correspondence, contracts, and other property records.
- Assist with resident events and engagement initiatives.
- Track operational expenses and organize invoices.
- Support move-in and move-out processes.
- Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Senior General Manager, General Manager, and Assistant General Manager.
